Why Iranian Dates

Iranian Dates are famous all around the world because of their quality and unique taste.Iranian dates are high in Iron, Natural Sugar and a healthy snack for the body. Persian date is a great source of various nutrients of Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, and etc. We categorize our dates based on their moisture percentage into 3 groups of Fresh, Dry & Semi Dry.There are various kinds of Iranian date fruit as follows. Iran has diverse climates which suitable for most kinds of date fruits such as Bam Mazafati Dates, Piarom Dates, Kalute Dates, Zahedi Dates, Kabkab Dates, Sayer Dates, Rabbi Dates, Shahani Dates, and others.

Zahedi Dates

Zahedi dates are classified as dry dates. In some areas, it is known as semi-dry varieties, in some parts of the country it has been named as Ghasab. The shape of this fruit is oval and its end is quite thin and sharp. 

Sayer Dates

This kind, known as Astamaran, Sayer, Sambavaran , in different regions  which is said to contain about 70-80 percent of date palms in the province of Khuzestan. It has a large commercial value and is one of the most important export products of this unit to Europe.

Rabbi Dates

It is one of the best quality cultivars that is usually dark brown, its color is red at Kharak stage and its color at fresh stage is slightly green. Rabbi dates have a thin skin, its color is brighter than Mazafati dates, high sap, less moisture, the core and the earliest date of the country.

Mazafati Dates

Bam Mazafati dates are one of the dates produced in Iran. This type of date is not considered a dried fruit due to its high humidity.Bam town is the biggest Mazafati dates producer in our country.
